Rocky Mountain Snowpack Decline Since 80s More Significant Than Anytime in 1000 Years


It may have been a snowy winter this year in the Rocky Mountains, as it was in many areas of the US, but new research of tree rings from the US Geological Survey shows that the long term trend is solidly towards less snowpack.
